Puget Sound Bird Fest in Edmonds

Some highlights of the 3rd annual Puget Sound Bird Fest will be-
* "On Wing" juried art show throughout May, with artists'
reception Friday, May 18
* Opening presentation Friday evening (following artists'
reception) by Paul Bannick, Seattle nature photographer: "Wild Wings, A
Photographic Celebration of Northwest Birds"
* Guided birdwatching and nature walks on Saturday, May 19,
including a birding cruise of nearby Puget Sound waters, hosted by
members of the Edmonds Yacht Club
* Live raptor presentations by Sarvey Wildlife Center
* Self-guided tour of backyard wildlife sanctuaries
* Festival marketplace
* Event shuttle
* Family-friendly activities
* Keynote presentation Saturday evening by Jeff Price, Ph.D. on
the effects of climate change on the distribution of birds in Washington
