Tweeters,
This morning, I had a pure bred adult Red-naped Sapsucker across the
clearing from the back of my house in Battle Ground, Clark County, at
around noon today. It stuck around for about 45 minutes before flying
over the house from whence it came.
It was a good day of yard birding with White-breasted Nuthatch also
being a new yard bird. A Peregrine, two Bald Eagles, one Northern
Harrier, two American Kestrels, and three Red-tailed Hawks kept me
looking skyward. I was inundated with Pine Siskins and American
Goldfinches today.
There's something strange in the sky down here.....I think they call it
the "sun" but I'll have to check the internet to make sure.....
Hope your birding is going well.
