Today a chickaree paused beneath some shrubbery, suddenly took off in mad
dash, and leapt through an opening between two lower branches of our small
maple. A few minutes later, another charge and through the gap again. . . just
for the fun of it? But, wait! our fearless flyer was back again . . and made
his leap through the same gap safely again! We are still musing about the
motivation? and tune in tomorrow? M.
