Subject: [Tweeters] Bottle Beach Tides, The Secret

Hi Tweeters,

I got some advice to help with tides from several
sources. There are some other tide websites that were
recommended and I checked out. One is at Washington
Flyfishing website and the other is at NOAA, tides and
currents. The flyfishing site has neat graphics and
when you put your cursor over the date the info pops
up written. I wasn't able to use the NOAA site very
well. I could not figure out where to request future
dates.

Don't go at really high tides like 12-13 feet and if
there is a storm surge all tidal bets are off.

Keep using Saltwater Tides but tighten the area to
Markham and Bay City which straddle Bottle Beach, good
advice.

And last but not least add about 10-15 minutes to
tidal estimates because Bottle Beach is a bit inland.

So that is all the secrets in a nutshell. Some of it
I will definitely use and go from there. I did get a
few replys from people who had the same frustration of
arriving and the water being clear up too high and the
birds have gone elsewhere. I'll definitely try to
keep to my own self recommendation-get there plenty
early before high tide arrives, or go back when the
tide is receding if you miss it.

Thanks for all your input. Like I have said many
times before, Tweeters is great!
