Tweets,
spent about an hour or so walking the power line trail of the Kent ponds
today. All was pretty quiet by the time I got there. I did see a river otter
in the main pond, a coyote, swallows, and the red-shouldered hawk. It was
viewed just north of the viewing tower accessed from the power line trail. I
watched it for about 20 minutes as it preened itself and fought off a red
tail a couple of times. I almost passed the red-shouldered for a coopers at
a distance and thought it looked a bit different. Glad I did!
