Starting around 9am, I birded from Elma to Ocean Shores. Weather was mostly sunny except towards the late afternoon when some heavy showers rolled through Ocean Shores. I ended my birding around 5pm. I ended with 82 species. Here's the highlights:

Elma - Vance Creek county park: the pair of Redheads continue, also a singing American Goldfinch

Satsop - near intersection of Keys Rd. and Wenzel Slough Rd: "Bewick's Swan" continues with Tundra and Trumpeter Swans, also at least 3 Greater White-fronted Geese here, one Peregrine Falcon spotted here as well

Ocean Shores:
Snow Goose - one single with mixed flock of Greater White-fronted and Canada Geese on golf course

Snowy Owl - spotted 2 out on Damon Point (one perched on top of old light blue information kiosk at end of pavement road, the other on driftwood log southeast of the pond)

Horned Lark - flushed at least 4 on Damon Point just east of the pond

Harlequin Duck - one male and two females in water just outside the marina entrance

Rock Sandpiper - at least 2 on north side of jetty with several Black Turnstones

Black-legged Kittiwake - had a couple fly by while I was braving the top of the jetty

I also picked up my first of the season Rufous Hummingbird, Violet-green Swallow, and Tree Swallow today.
