Better late than never.
Tomorrow from 9:30 - 11:30 am I will be leading a family program (adults
without kids welcome too! - small kids should love it too!) for The Seattle
Parks Department at Camp Long Environmental Learning Center focused on Moles
and other fossorial (hole digging) animals, that is if 8 or more people call
Camp Long (206 684-7434) and sign up before 5:45 pm this evening. We'll
learn a bit about moles, shrews (not necessarilly fossorial), Mt beavers and
Gophers and examine mole hills, and holes and turn over logs and even
pretend to be moles and dig holes - eating worms will be optional.
Fee $8 adults, $6 kids
