Hi,
Has anyone observed the swans at the freeway Cle Elum ponds the past few
days. I have a report that a family is now there and that it is trumpeter
swans. One is collared with a blue band. The issue is that the previous
sightings of swans in this same area during the fall: reported as
trumpeters. However, the collar partial code given was for a tundra swan.
If anyone sees or has seen this family, please try to get the collar code, a
photo or a good description of the birds including juvenile color.
