I checked the Goodrich pond and walked the trail this afternoon. The
pond is 3/4 of the way full now. Only American Wigeons, Mallards, 3
Buffleheads, 2 Northern Shovelers, 4 Killdeer, 1 Black-bellied Plover,
and 175+ Dunlin were seen on and around the pond. Along the trail there
were 10 Western Meadowlarks, 4 Golden-crowned Sparrows, 2 Brown
Creepers, 25+ Stellar Jays, 100+ American Robins, and 2 Scrub Jays. As
for raptors, 2 Bald Eagles, 2 American Kestrels, and 1 Red-tailed Hawk.
On the river there were 15 Ring-necked Ducks, 1 Lesser Scaup, and 2
Common Mergansers. Also there were about 30+ swallows, mixed Tree and
Violet-green flying over the pond and along the river.
