I remember working with Jamie Acker and Dawn Garcia and various owl species
in the not so distant past. We were able to see amazing fluorescence in
predictable patterns in barred owls and NOPO's and maybe saw whet owls. I still
have some of Dawns great photos.

If you can go to see Jamie's program and ask hem more about it. I don't
remember if any of that had much to do with sexual dimorphism but it must have
something to do with visual perception of the UV range. I never was able to
see any reports regarding this subject but if they exist they should be very
interesting.
