Tweets,
A White-throated Sparrow has been hanging around my yard for around a week
now. It appears it will stay as long as the ~10 Golden-crowns do. Probably
the same bird that showed up early January. It should be an easy "find" if
anyone wants to stop by. Please email for instructions.
Also, I vaguely recall a mention that ravens can be a bit challenging in
Thurston Co. My daily route on Old Hwy 99 takes me through an apparent raven
hangout. Recently I saw at least 6 together. There are regularly one or two
between Chein Hill and Waldrick Rd, most often between Offut Lk Rd & the
rail overpass. Mornings are best, not necessarily early.
Good birding!
