On a circuit around Greenlake yesterday about 3:30PM
my friend, Barbara, and I saw 2 male Wood Ducks in
the water at the shoreline between the kiddie wading
pool and the Bathhouse Theater. One was in the company
of a Mallard pair. We circumambulate GL frequently and
have rarely seen Wood Ducks, let alone so close. No
females in sight.
