Hello,

A little time around the Peone Wetland early this cold morning produced 2
Eurasian Wigeons and Violet Green Swallows and 35 Elk. On Madison Rd, there
were 2 Western Bluebirds, a Tree Swallow, Spotted Towhees, Pileated
Woodpeckers and Chestnut backed Chickadees.

Late this afternoon, my wife and I took a leisurely drive up into Stevens
County where we encountered more Violet Green and Tree Swallows. The flooded
fields south of Chewelah proved to be fruitful with many Bald Eagles and
Rough Legged Hawks and among the thousands of N Pintail were 7 Tundra Swans,
3 Trumpeter Swans, 1 Snow Goose, Green Winged, Redhead, Ring Necked Ducks
and a few Am Wigeons. The STP on Long Prairie Rd, southwest of Valley
produced many hosted many Common Goldenyes, 2 Barrow's Goldeneye, a Wood
Duck and a Hooded Merganser.

Blessings,

Terry Little
