For those who are planning to make a trip to the falls. We have found that the scrape location can best be viewed from the upper end of the walkway near the lodge. It is closer for pictures and you don't have the mist that can be present in other locations depending on how much water is coming over the falls. You also don't have the vibration that you often have on the observation deck that shakes a scope or camera if you have it on a tripod.
