Aye this mornun MerryLynn and I headed for western Walla Walla County and by
1300hrs it was 74 degrees. What a spectacular GREEN spring day! Birds of
note were.......

Glaucous Gull.........1 ad. on the WWRdelta
CASPIAN TERN.....1 ad. on the WWRdelta-first of the year.
Dunlin.......................182 birds on the WWRdelta
Bald Eagle.................1 ad. on the WWRdelta
WHITE-THROATED SWIFT.....8 birds west of Port Kelley-first of the year.
Common Loon..........2 birds near Port Kelley
RED-NECKED GREBE.............1 near Port Kelley-first of the year.
Canyon Wren.............1 west of Port Kelley
Violet-GREEN Swallow..............30+ west of Port Kelley
Say's Phoebe...............1 west of Port Kelley
Prairie Falcon.............1 pair at Wallula Gap
Peregrine Falcon.........1 ad. near Wallula Gap
Greater white-fronted Geese......220 birds near MP 300 along Hwy 12.

also saw 6 introduced Pond Sliders at McNary NWR
and a now very rare Black-tailed Jack Rabbit.
