Greetings:

Millions of shorebirds are beginning their migration to the Arctic Slope
and stopping over at the Bay of Santa Maria in Mexico. You and your class
can stop with them on Thursday, March 22 for a FREE, LIVE, INTERACTIVE
electronic field trip. This virtual field trip is being delivered by
webcast on the Internet and by satellite, so you have two options to
receive the program. Wildlife biologists will be standing by to talk about
migration and answer questions from your class. The e-mail address to send
questions is pwninfo at aol.com, and you may forward your questions now or the
day of the program. The program is geared for students in grades 5 to 8,
and instructional resources are available on the web site at
http://migration.pwnet.org.

The 30-minute live, electronic field trip will be available (IN ENGLISH

ONLY. First, there will be a 30-minute program about the Mexican state of
Sinaloa where the Bay of Santa Maria is located on the Pacific Ocean.
Sinaloa is one Mexico?s main agricultural producers, and it contains
immense biodiversity. This program will be available IN SPANISH ONLY as a
webcast and broadcast at the following times:

11:30 - Noon Mountain Time
