Tweets: Any editor will tell you, and all publishers will insist, that the
writer gives the object referred to (by any abbreviation or initials or
italics) full status at the beginning of one's article, essay, or opening
paragraph. Not to do so is simply sloppy writing and a discourtesy to one's readers.
Regarding the 4-letter codes: Violet-green Swallow followed by VGSW
isn't really too difficult , is it?. . . (but do I have it right? :>) ??
