Hi, Tweeters, There is a small heron rookery in Okanogan Co. where the
Okanogan River flows into the Columbia River. The last few years we have
had Cormorants nesting there too. Today we observed a new bird nesting high
in the trees: a Great Horned Owl! What a surprise. Meredith Spencer,
Bridgrport P.S. Saw one Turkey Vulture just south of Brewster in Okanogan
Co. today also.
