In Gorst (between Bremerton and Port Orchard), they
are currently developing a trail that wraps around
close to the water. Every day, for the past year, I
have driven past that area, wishing I could stop
somewhere and get out. It looks like I'll get my wish
soon! The area features wonderful tide flats and there
are always shorebirds aplenty, as well as bald eagles
and other birds of prey. It's a wonder I haven't been
in an accident rubber necking the birds. Now I'll be
able to stop and gawk. :)
