Subject: [Tweeters] Mountain Bluebird continues at Mima Mounds this morning

I just returned from a rather wet trip to the Mima Mounds Natural Area. I found the Mountain Bluebird out on the long loop trial by the easternmost "Short Cut Trail" sign. There is a lone evergreen tree here which is about 16ft. high near this sign. The bird was often found on top of this lone tree. I also heard Western Meadowlark and Savannah Sparrow while out in the grasslands. I believe I was earlier enough to avoid the noise of the shooting range that is nearby.

Good birding!
