Subject: [Tweeters] Tufted Duck on Black Lake, Thurston County

This afternoon, on my way home from Woodard Bay (67 Great Blue Heron!),
I made my usual stop to scan the north end of Black Lake where I found
one male Tufted Duck in a raft of 10 Greater Scaup. Waterfowl on Black
Lake do a lot of commuting between the lake and nearby ponds and
smaller lakes, plus the South Sound embayments, so these Aythya could
show up at other locations in the Olympia area.
