A beautiful section of hillside habitat next to Mee Kwa Mooks Park in West Seattle (along Jacobson Road) is proposed to be cleared with five houses replacing it. There are western screech and great horned owls living here, downy and hairy woodpeckers, and ruby-crowned and golden-crowned kinglets, among many other species.

My birding skills are okay but not great. The public comment period closes this Wednesday, 3/28. I am writing a comment letter, however, want to also provide a list of birds using this site. In order to do this, I need the help of someone with good birding skills. Please let me know if you can help -- asap. Thank you!
