Interesting to compare Matt Dufort's sightings with the ones Carine Mitchell
and I had at Discovery from dawn until noon. We missed the Say's Phoebe,
Clark's Grebe, and Rhinos but had 69 species, including these highlights:

Eared Grebe 1 (near West Point in W. Grebe flock)
Black Brant 4 (far offshore)
3 corm sp.
northbound Dunlin flock
5 gull sp.
Rufous Hummingbird 3
COM. RAVEN 1 (heard close to dawn near North Parking lot)
Orange-crowned Warbler 1 (singing migrant along bluff overlook just w. of
West Pt.)
Savannah Sparrow 1 (inbound migrant South Meadow)
ALTIVAGANS FOX SPARROW 1 (a match for the Sullivan's recently-posted photos,
bright rust in tail, wings; grayish in face)
Sooty Fox Sparrow 25+ (many apparent migrants, singing birds)

I did have one pale grebe that might have been a Clark's off the n. side of
West Pt, but the bill was not diagnostic enough for certainty. Overall,
many birds in the area, especially given pretty poor weather most of the
morning.
