Hello All,
Well the 10th Othello Sandhill Crane Fest is mostly over save for a few
coming weekend crane tours. Birds of note I saw during this festival are as
follows.........

Sandhill Cranes........3800+
Long-billed Curlew..6
Am. Avocet...............3
Long-eared Owl........1
Barn Owl...................1
Great Horned Owl.....1+
Canada Geese.............15,000+
Snow Geese.................4
Greater White-fronted Geese...2
N.Pintail.......................1,100+
Chukar..........................2
Tri-colored Blackbird..5+
Varied Thrush................2
Golden Eagle.................1
Bald Eagle......................2
Herring Gull...................2

Met many great folks and sat in on some outstanding presentations. If you
have never been to this event out here in eastern Washington it is high time
you get over here next March and participate! 1000+ people can not be wrong!
