Hi Everyone,
My name is Malkolm Boothroyd, I'm an avid 15 year old birder. In June my parents and I will cycle from our home in Canada's Yukon for a fossil-fuel-free big year. It will not just be a birding adventure; it will be a conservation project, raising money for bird conservation. We will cycle through BC, down the coast until southern California, then east to Florida and finally back to Texas.

Our current plan is to cycle south from Vancouver, paddle across to Port Towsend and circle north of Olympic NP. We''ll then head down the coast to Ocean Shores. Our dates in Washington will be from about July 28 - August 18th. We'd like to optimize our bird-finding potential and we would love some Washington bird hotspot advice - and to meet Washington birders!

Our full schedule is on our website, www.birdyear.com. From the home page, hit the "Our Project" button, then click on the schedule link, in the second paragraph.

Thanks,

Malkolm Boothroyd
