Greetings All,

It's kinda nice to "get outa town" once in a while and see the ordinary birds of another area.

I just spent a three-day weekend catching up with my two grandsons in California and was able to spot a Snowy Egret, a pair of Common Moorhens, several Black Phoebes, Mockingbirds and Lesser Goldfinch along the creek/wetland near their home.

All common to them, but not for me.
