Hi John and Tweeters,

I see goldfinch year round where I work as well and
fairly often at home in winter so I always get a kick
out of people who say it must be spring they saw their
first goldfinch of the year. They must hang out very
locally and not in other places so people don't see
them for quite some time.

Do other people notice this trend too? Do some of
them actually migrate away?
