I've been observing and photographing the snow geese on Fir Island quite a
bit this winter. Yesterday, I saw this very dark snow goose among the flock
(to see the photo, use the link below), and wondered if this was a juvenile
dark morph snow goose? Its white feathers seem to be coming in around its
head and neck and that seems to indicate a dark morph/blue goose. Or, what
do you think?

Either way, if was interesting to see such a dark goose - it really stood
out in the crowd!
