Sightings for Sunday, March 25th:

In Delta, a SAY'S PHOEBE was present along 41B Street near
Deltaport Way. It was seen in a grass field behind the white house
with a trailer in the yard, just north of Delta Port Way.

At Iona Island Regional Park in Richmond, the MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD
was present just past the restrooms.


Sightings for Saturday, March 24th:

In Delta at 3760 72nd Street, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was
observed for 15 minutes. Nearby, in the flooded field just to the east,
was a male EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL. At the foot of 72nd
Street, 6 SNOWY OWLS were present along the Boundary Bay dike.
Two SAVANNAH SPARROWS were seen in the area.

At Iona Island, an early NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW
was sighted.


Sightings for Friday, March 23rd:

At Iona Island, the MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was still present just
past the restrooms.

In Burnaby, a PINE GROSBEAK was seen in a garden along Ashworth
Street.


Sightings for Thursday, March 22nd:

At Iona Island, a MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was seen between the south
jetty and the restroom. No sign of the SAY'S PHOEBE on Sea Island.

In Delta at 3760 72nd St, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was seen
briefly at 11 AM.


Sightings for Wednesday, March 21st:

On Vancouver Island in Victoria, the TUFTED DUCK remains at
King's Pond on Ascot Drive.

On Sea Island in Richmond, a SAY'S PHOEBE was present along
the north fence of the Vancouver Airport, just east of the UPS building.

In Delta at 3760 72nd Street, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD
was again present.

The overwintering WILLET continues at the base on the south side of
Tsawwassen ferry jetty in Delta..

At the Maplewood Conservation Area in North Vancouver, 24
TRUMPETER SWANS flew overhead, and a WESTERN
MEADOWLARK was sighted.


No reports for Tuesday, March 20th.


Sightings for Monday, March 19th:

In Washington State, the BLACK-HEADED GULL was seen again
at Point No Point in Kitsap County. See the Tweeters E-mail group

In Delta at 3760 72nd St, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD continues.


Sightings for Sunday, March 18th:

In Delta, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD continues at 3760 72nd
Street, although it can be elusive. At the foot of 72nd Street, 7 SNOWY
OWLS were present. Nearby were 10 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS.

Near Burnaby Lake in Burnaby, a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was
present at a garden feeder.


Sightings for Saturday, March 17th:

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was present at 3760 72nd
Street in Delta. Nearby were 25 GREATER YELLOWLEGS.

At Crescent Beach in Surrey, a MARBLED GODWIT was present.


Sightings for Friday, March 16th:

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was present at 3760 72nd Street
in Delta.


Sightings for Thursday, March 15th:

A HORNED PUFFIN in winter plumage was seen off Amphitrite Point,
near Ucluelet on Vancouver Island.

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was present at 3760 72nd Street
in Delta.

At Iona Island, a WESTERN GULL and a RING-NECKED DUCK were
sighted. There was no relocation of the SAGE SPARROW.


Sightings for Wednesday, March 14th

At Iona Island in Richmond, a SAGE SPARROW was found at
1:30 PM today. Drive to the farthest parking lot, past the rest rooms,
and walk the gravel road towards the Fraser River. The bird was
seen in the area where the road bends to the left.

In Delta, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD could not be relocated
on 72nd St today.

At Maplewood Conservation area in North Vancouver, a
WESTERN MEADOWLARK was present.


Sightings for Tuesday, March 13th

In Delta, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was seen again in the yard
at 3760 72nd Street, just south of the Delta Community Living
Society offices.


No reports for Monday, March 12th


Sightings for Sunday, March 11th

In Delta, the GYRFALCON was present along 112th St. Also,
a GLAUCOUS GULL and at least 10 CALIFORNIA GULLS
were seen in the area.
