Hi Tweeters,
I went after work and found the Sage Sparrow at
Marymoor after a 45 minute search and was rewarded
with about 15 minutes of the best Sage Sparrow viewing
I have ever had. It was in the same area Mason Flint
reported. Oddly no other birders present. I left a
very happy camper around 6:30pm.
A White-crowned Sparrow juvenile was molting into his
white crown. That was fun to look at too before the
Sage Sparrow took center stage.
I looked for Osprey on the way home off 405 but did
not see the Renton cell tower ones or the ones at the
ballpark in Bellevue. A road kill beaver was on the
side of the on ramp from 520 going onto 405 south.
Kind of an odd spot for a beaver on the move.
Marymoor and the compost piles are little beyond my
directional capabilities, sorry about that one, maybe
some one else can provide.
