was spotted and photographed, but not well (poor lighting, distance) between
1230 and 1400... for the most part, the sparrow was in the brambles just
east of the largest dirt hill in the compost area, though he was
originally-spotted about 35 metres north of that spot when i first
arrived...

i'll probably head back for another try later in the evening, and definitely
tomorrow morning...
