how you put it, with no reference to "it is 'cause it should be".
The one thing that had been sticking me was what you summed up:

Now I can let this whole thing go and I will :o).
I don't think I mentioned Heuglin's by name (maybe I did), but 80% have
peppered eyes with 10% or so being all dark.
