Subject: [Tweeters] Ibis at Columbia NWR, hummers in Othello

This morning I found a male Calliope Hummingbird at the back yard feeder before heading off to work. My wife had a Rufous Hummingbird as well. A White-faced Ibis showed up in the southern-most pond of Marsh Unit 2 in Columbia NWR, seemingly early but not unexpected after the sighting of 52 at Mann Lake last weekend. A Grasshopper Sparrow was singing a little east of there. This afternoon I returned to MU-2 and found the flock of one had increased to at least 44 WHITE-FACED IBIS, I believe the most I have seen in this area.
