Nick Bonomo of CT and I spent the past three days birding mostly in E WA.
I'll just list some highlights below:

4/30
Para Ponds - 1 Peregrine Falcon, 1 Solitary Sandpiper, 12 Tricolored
Blackbird - just past the ponds on the right

Wilson Creek - 2 Ferruginous Hawks

Great-tailed Grackle at Liberty Lake - right where he was supposed to be on
the golf course, late in the day singing on top of a pine tree

Leahy Lek site - 7 sage grouse, 10 Sandhill Cranes, 1 Rough-legged Hawk with
another RLHA on SR17 heading south from there toward Coulee City

Heritage Road - 3 Baird's Sandpipers with Leasts and 200 pipits in the
flooded field at the south end, 3 Long-eared Owls and a singing Grasshopper
Sparrow farther to the north. 3 Eurasian Collared-Doves while passing
through Mansfield.

Packwood Cemetery in Central Ferry Canyon - 2 Western Bluebirds (male was
banded with standard metal band - no color bands) & a cooperative Dusky
Grouse in a tree

Sun Lakes Resort, Kraule Trail - 8 Dusky Grouse - five of which were seen
well, Vesper Sparrow

Beaver Pond - 1 Red-naped X Red-breasted Sapsucker hybrid

Klipchuck Campground - 1 Williamson's Sapsucker heard

Swamp Creek and Hardy Burn Parking lot, Skagit County - 1 Vesper Sparrow at
each

Rockport Quarry - 2 Townsend's Solitaire, 1 Nashville Warbler - another
solitaire was in the clearcut east of the south end of Martin Road
