Ha Ha! Although my knee-jerk reactions to problems tend to be crude, I too like seeing or hearing a Barred owl from time to time. In the knee-jerk catagory is what Stonewall Jackson reputedly said , in answer to a question on what to do about the marauding Yankees in Richmond: "Kill 'em - kill 'em all!" But being just one of the little people, I obviously can't play God.

Saving a particular forest form profit-minded logging interests must be based on more than saving a single endangered species.
