Subject: [Tweeters] Some Thurston County Migrants

Greetings Tweeters,
I had the opportunity to swing through Capitol Forest and Mima Mounds mid
morning today. While I did not run into big numbers of migrants I did
encounter several first of season birds, at least for me. Along Wadell
Creek Road were Olive-sided and Hammonds Flycatcher, along with
MacGillivray's Warbler. At the SW corner of Mima Mounds was a Western
Kingbird (actually along fencelines at the residences in the SW corner, just
outside the preserve).
Cheers and good birding,
Bill Shelmerdine
