Hello All,
Today while doing a plant survey along the Touchet River near Prescot in
Walla Walla Co. I observed more than 250 Common Ravens in a single flock.
The noise was deafening and the amount of white wash in the area was
amazing. This is the largest number I have ever seen during this time of
year. The area must really suffer from having this many ravens foraging for
prey. I would have thought that being the nesting season that any flocks
would have dispursed by now. Birding is always interesting!
Later Mike
