While the reporting observers are reliable and credible, I would note that I
have often seen Soras show significant white in the secondaries when
flushed. That field mark is a matter of its extent, not whether or not
there is white in the secondaries. Sibley?s western guide illustrates his
aspect quite well. I am not sure that Soras can?t make ?tet? calls when
disturbed.
