Hi Tweets,

Saw a few Western Tanagers in Colman Park this afternoon!

Also, about a month ago the Rufous Hummingbirds returned to the area and
began frequenting our feeder again (to the chagrin of the Anna's
Hummingbirds, who hung around all winter). This morning I saw what appeared
to be a young male Rufous, perched on a high branch, being fed by a female
Rufous! Has anyone ever observed this behavior before? This was not in a
nest, and the youngster, if in fact it was a youngster, was certainly
capable of flight, as he took off after about an hour of perching. He looked
to be a subadult male, but I can't say for sure.
