Subject: [Tweeters] Some uncommon sightings at Ridgefield NWR

This morning at the River "S" Unit of the Ridgefield NWR, I was pleasantly
surprised to see two Black-necked Stilts on Ruddy Lake a short ways before
the blind. This pair were also seen this afternoon in approximately the
same location. Also, this afternoon, Al Larrabee and I saw a Wilson's
Phalarope on Schwartz Lake. Although some pictures were taken of both of
these birds, the Phalarope was from a distance. The Western Tanagers are
back at the refuge as seen today as also are the Black-headed Grosbeaks and
the Vaux's Swifts, which have been seen for the last week.
