Hello All
Yesterday afternoon I birded from Emerald Downs to 204th Street in Kent. The
avocet was not present at M Street/Emerald Downs, but I did see the Greater
White-fronted Goose and the 3 Cackling Geese. At 204th Street were about 150
American Pipits, 1 Western Meadowlark, and a small scattering of Least
Sandpipers. The most shorebirds were at the construction pond south of
212th, where I found 1 Semipalmated Sandpiper among the Leasts and Westerns.
There was also a Wilson's Snipe and 5 Long-billed Dowitchers at the pond,
and a Turkey Vulture flew over.

Thanks,
Charlie Wright
