This afternoon, my brother Jeff found a small group of YHBBs at North Creek Park in Mill Creek. He originally saw the birds near the north end of the park in cat tails, but when he and I searched for them later, we couldn't find them there, but eventually found them feeding in a pile of horse manure in a seldom used corral (perhaps now abandoned) just west of the northern entrance to the park. In this group were six birds, all females.
>From the center of Mill Creek on 164th Street, turn south onto 9th Avenue and follow it to its end, where is the park entrance. The birds may be visible from anywhere near the park entrance.
