Invasive Species Workshop 11:00 a.m.
Wildlife Costume Parade: 12:00p.m. - 1:00p.m.
Talk by Russell Link - Native Plants for Wildlife 2:00p.m.
Certified Wildlife Garden Tour: Local Tukwila Certified Backyards - Begins
at 3:00 p.m.

And Much More! Exhibitors include Sarvey Wildlife Care Center, Northwest
Trek, Wild Birds Unlimited, Nat'l. Wildlife Federation, WA Dept. of Fish and
Wildlife, and Rainier Audubon. Vendors sell plants, and give away lots of
free stuff.

Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with us!

The 2007 Backyard Wildlife Festival is a free, all-day event designed
to help people of all ages attract birds, butterflies and other wildlife
to their yards, gardens and communities.

The Festival showcases lively demonstrations, hands-on workshops,
nature shows, native plant sales, live animals, gardening and
landscaping for wildlife, how to certify your yard and community as a
wildlife habitat, birdhouse building, living with wildlife tips, food,
music, games, prizes and fun.

After the festival (3pm), festival-goers are invited to take
self-guided tour of local certified wildlife gardens

DIRECTIONS:
>From the south: Take I-5 north from South Center to the next exit, exit 156
onto hwy 599. Stay in the right lane and take the immediate right off of
hwy 599 down onto Interurban Ave. Turn left and immediately get into the
right lane. Travel north on Interurban Ave past Gateway Ave (Boeing
Employees Credit Union is on Gateway), and continue north about 5 blocks on
Interurban. Turn right at the light and cross over the bridge at 42nd Ave.
Tukwila Community Center is on the right along the Green River.

>From the north: Take I-5 south past Boeing Field to exit 156 onto
Interurban Ave. Turn right and travel to the right (north) on Interurban
Ave about 1/2
mile. Follow directions above.
