Yesterday was a nice day in the yard. Tanagers, two kinds of grosbeak,
goldfinch in numbers, a barn swallow finally and he sat for a photo so I
will be able to add it to my yardbird folder. A pair of Mallards have moved
in and though they still leave when I'm outside and get too close, they come
back. Don't really know if this is good or bad, yet. A couple purple finch
were mixed with the house finch. A brown-headed cowbird, yellow-rumped and
orange-crowned warblers, and so many others.
