hello all:
i have the new costa rica book, and so far i'm unimpressed. lusing the book to look at the birds that are around here or that i've seen before, i'd say it has a nice size, but odd illustrations and skimpy info. using it to try to id photos of hummers provided by a guy who took them in cr was a disaster. could be i'm spoiled by petersen and sibley, but this seemed like 'bird book lite' to me. but, since i don't have the previous book, i can't say if it's an improvement or not. at least the names should be good for a week or two . . ..
regards,
t
