Tweeters:

Participated in the May count Saturday, and had a few birds of interest at
Cape Flattery and vicinity. 104 species were found between Cape Flattery
and Sekiu. On the way home, also stopped by Three Crabs and had a few more
of note there.

Sooty Shearwater 5
SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATER 1 (came in close enough for good comparative study,
C. Flattery)
N. Fulmar 1

Long-tailed Duck 5 (getting late)
Bald Eagle 33 (most feeding on fish heads at Neah Bay harbor, almost Dutch
Harbor-like, tame)
Wandering Tattler 1 (Hobuck Beach)
Red-necked Phalarope 17
Short-billed Dowitcher 17 (Helen's Pond)
Long-billed Dowitcher 2 (Helen's Pond) (1 along Waatch River also)
VEGA (Herring) GULL 1 (flew by point-blank 12 noon; third-summer; heading
west off Cape Flattery)

Common Tern 4, Caspian Tern 2
Tufted Puffin 5
EUR. COLLARED-DOVE 2 (seen just south of Three Crabs 6 pm, one block south
of small country grocery on Sequim-Dungeness Way)

Olive-sided Flycatcher 2 (Neah Bay and Sekiu R. vicinity)
Purple Martin 3 (wires by Helen's Pond eve)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1 (late, Hobuck beach)

Warbling Vireo 14 (various sites)
RED-EYED VIREO 1 (in with other migrants near Sekiu River in riparian
habitat, early by 7-10 days)
7 warbler sp including Wilson's 86 (82 of the Wilson's in or close to Neah
Bay)
