Hi Tweets,
I walked the loop trail at Discovery Park this morning, starting and ending
at the north parking lot. There was quite a bit of bird activity all over
the park. The highlight of the morning was watching a Western Kingbird hawk
for insects in the South Meadow. I have posted a couple photos of the
kingbird, as well as one of a Warbling Vireo (please correct me if I am
wrong) on my website here:
http://www.goatislandimages.com/photogalleries.htm. The photos can be found
in the "Passerines III" gallery.
Here are the species sighted this morning in no particular order:
Downy Woodpecker

Steller's Jay
European Starling
Red-winged Blackbird
Brewer's Blackbird
Black-capped Chickadee
