I was doing my normal Monday morning birding, today at Rattlesnake Lake in
North Bend(exit 32). The birding was a little slow on the south side of the
lake, with the usual suspects and made my way around to the north side the
lake where the trail head is. Something different caught my eye on top of
the alders trees, I found a Western Kingbird going between trees catching
insects.
It's the first time I have seen one at the lake in the ten years living
here.
