Hi Tweets,

I don't usually post, but when I see a pair of sandhill cranes steadily flapping, then coasting in for a landing on the cowfield NE of 212th & Orillia, I kind of have to. I stopped at the handy new pullout next to the new mud puddle (south side of 212th west of the Green River; plenty of dowitchers and sandpipers) to make sure of my ID; their outstretched necks and long legs reaching down as they landed clinched it. I saw them at 5 p.m.

In the same field I spotted a western kingbird, too.
