Birding by ear this morning in my back yard I heard in the space of less
than a minute a spotted towhee, red-winged blackbird, northwestern crow
(or was it an american...), common raven, barn swallow, tree swallow, a
rooster, and the source of all the other calls and songs - a male
European starling.
